PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE
Note: this is extracted from the School Prospectus - click on the link on the left for the full text.
Schools are required to distinguish between authorised and unauthorised absences in their registers.
Late arrivals (after 8.55 am) are classed as unauthorised. Regular attendance at school is most
important for the development of the individual child. Poor attendance can also be disruptive for
the other children in the class and parents are, therefore, urged to ensure that their children
attend regularly and on time. Schools are required by law to publish attendance information.
