Knaphill Lower School is a three-form entry infant school with a 78 place part-time Nursery.
There are three classes in each Year Group - Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Each class has up to 30 children and nursery nurses and teaching assistants work closely alongside class teachers to support children individually and in small groups. We also benefit from the support of other helpers such as parents, student teachers and volunteer helpers.
We place great emphasis on the importance of differentiating planning for the needs of all children and all teachers using a combination of individual, small group and whole-class teaching as appropriate.
